I have made Banana Bread so many times. And I can tell you that, the beauty of banana bread is the fact that you can customize it as you like. In the past, I have made plain banana bread, raisin banana bread, chocolate banana bread. I have topped banana bread with chocolate chunks and various nuts. This is the fun part of banana bread, I was telling you about. Today, I want to try it with M&M. M&M is one of my favorite chocolates. So why not put in my banana bread. To make this bread, this is everything you will need
- 1 & 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- A pinch of Salt
- 3 very riped bananas
- 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 jumbo egg
- 1 cup M&M chocolates
In a mixing bowl, sift the flour and baking soda. Add the salt and give it a good whisk. Set this aside.
In another bowl, use a hand mixer to mash the banana until it becomes creamy.
Next, add the butter, the vanilla, the egg, the sugar and the M&M. Make sure to use your whisk after each ingredient. That is_ butter then whisk, egg then whisk again. Am sure you understand.
Then, fold in the dry ingredients. Do not over mix it. Just mix enough, so that there is no dry flour anywhere.
Fill this in a small pan, that has been greased with butter. Preheat the oven
You can see that the batter is not so much. So please, use a mini loaf pan that will go just great with the size of this batter. Top it with even more of the M&M and banana slices
Look at how flat this batter is right now. Don’t worry… after baking, you will notice it has doubled in size. Bake this for 50 minutes. The oven temperature should be 170 degrees.
Please let it cool down completely before you touch it. This goes so well with tea, if you are a tea lover. You can use a cling film to wrap it and keep it in the fridge. As always, thank you for reading and see you back here soon❤️
