Hey there HF readers — I hope you all had a great Eid celebration! 💛
This year’s Eid was a blend of cherished moments and unexpected hiccups.
I had my henna done a day before, setting the festive mood. Let me show you how pretty my henna was. And it is actually a white henna that I ordered online from a vendor based in Singapore.

In the kitchen, I whipped up some delicious jollof rice (because what’s Eid without it?), and I also got to spend time with my boyfriend during the holiday, which made it extra special.

However, not everything went as planned. I had ordered four abayas online from Kano, eagerly anticipating their arrival before Eid. Unfortunately, they didn’t arrive until two days after the festivities. It was disheartening not having new clothes to wear for the occasion. Anyway, I made it work—and I’ll share a photo of me wearing one of the abayas to the office the Friday after Eid. At least it made an appearance, even if it was fashionably late.

Eid may not have gone exactly as planned, but it reminded me that joy isn’t always in the perfect outfit — it’s in the little things: shared meals, laughter, love, and being present. I hope yours was just as meaningful in its own way. Until next time, take care and stay kind.♥️♥️♥️
Very demure 🥰😍
