A new year always starts off with excitement. It’s a chance to think back on the past and plan for the future. The year 2023 was a challenging year for all of us Nigerians, because it started off with the Naira redesign policy from the Central Bank. I remember how crazy it was around this time last year. We literally had to buy the Naira with Naira. I think 10,000 Naira was sold for 3000 Naira or so. And in the midst of it all, we had to deal with preparations for the general elections. And after the elections, everything was so slow. It was as if nothing was moving and everyone was waiting for the new government to come in before things begin to normalize. Gosh, what a crazy year it was!!! But, Alhamdulillah is all I have to say because even with all the drama that 2023 started with, it was also an amazing year for me because I achieved so much, especially career wise.

Here we are in the New Year 2024. Happy New Year to you who is reading this right now. I wish you a prosperous year filled with good health and dreams come true. The new year is starting with the AFCON 2023 Tournament and am super excited. In case you didn’t know, the AFCON is my favorite tournament and even though I did not make it to Ivory Coast due to insufficient funds in the bank, I will In Shaa Allah go for the next tournament in Morocco. And just in case you are wondering, my support goes to either Cameroon or Nigeria in this tournament.

Unlike many of my friends, I spent the New Year’s eve at home. I really prefer to stay at home and pray, instead of going out like many people. That has been the culture for me since I was a baby. The next day I was invited to an APC party, which I attended. There was plenty of food to eat and wine to drink and most importantly, I made significant connections. This is the picture that I took at the party and excuse the blurriness please. Lol

I know that I was not very consistent in 2023 with content creation. But, it is all due to my new 9-5 job lifestyle. I hardly have any time for myself to rest. But I am hoping that 2024 will be different and I will try to create content, even if it is once a month. I am also looking into getting bloggers who will be writing for me, just to keep the blog going. But, that is something I will have to take my time before I decide because I don’t want inconsistencies in the style of writing for this blog.

Okay guys! This was supposed to just be a brief Happy New Year message from me to you. I want to use to opportunity to remind you to keep going, never give up, continue being the best version of yourself, always secure the bag, cut off anything that wants to stress you in this 2024, build only important and beneficial relationships, time is money and nobody should waste your time, go out there and learn new skills, get new certificates, get better jobs and better gigs and lastly, take good care of your health because na only one body you get.
